Fire Fighting Awareness & Safety
Fire Fighting training is designed to prepare personnel to prevent, respond to, and control fires in industrial, oil and gas, and other high-risk environments. The program covers:
- Fire types and causes – Classification of fires (Class A, B, C, D, and K), ignition sources, and common fire hazards.
- Fire prevention – Housekeeping, proper storage of flammable materials, safe handling of equipment, and eliminating ignition sources.
- Fire detection and alarms – Use of smoke detectors, heat sensors, and fire alarm systems.
- Firefighting equipment – Proper selection and use of fire extinguishers, hoses, fire blankets, sprinklers, and suppression systems.
- Emergency response procedures – Evacuation routes, assembly points, and coordinated response during fire incidents.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Fire-resistant clothing, helmets, gloves, and breathing apparatus.
- Practical drills – Hands-on exercises for extinguishing fires, using equipment correctly, and practicing safe evacuation.
