Level 4 – Drilling Well Control (Supervisory Level)

Level 4 Drilling Well Control is the highest level of well control training and is intended for supervisory and senior personnel who hold overall responsibility for well control management during drilling operations. This level focuses on advanced decision-making, supervision of well control activities, and ensuring correct implementation of well control procedures under complex and high-risk conditions.
The program covers advanced well control theory, comprehensive pressure analysis, evaluation and selection of well kill strategies, management of abnormal and emergency situations, and leadership during well control incidents. Level 4 includes rigorous theoretical examinations and high-level simulator assessments. Successful completion certifies participants to supervise and direct well control operations in compliance with international industry standards.
